Memorizing the Pentatonic scale shapes

The pentatonic scale across the fretboard is often split into parts for learning. Like this you can focus on 1 box at a time. In this lesson the fretboard animations are divided in these more bite-sized chunks to help you memorize the hole thing a little more easy.
The context of this lesson is the C Major Pentatonic scale.

Box 1

In the video the first 'box' is explained and a good example is given to play it. Once you've come comfortable with this shape you can click to the next animation on the fretboard (the arrow on the upper right corner) to start practicing the next box/shape in this scale.

Beginners

You guys can stick with the first box for now and revisit this lesson. The first box shape can be used to play great sounding solos an licks and is a great start. You will add more boxes under your belt as you continue.

Intermediate

So your back for more, get all the boxes under your belt and open up the guitar neck.
