Rockguitar.ist is a platform where users can create, share, and explore guitar lessons, exercises, tabs, and other music-related content. Most features are free for everyone. Only creators/teachers can choose a paid membership to unlock additional tools.
By creating an account, you agree that the information you provide is accurate, that you are responsible for keeping your login details secure, and that you will not use the platform for illegal, harmful, or abusive activities. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms or disrupt the community.
When you publish content on Rockguitar.ist, you retain full ownership of your work. You grant Rockguitar.ist a non-exclusive license to display your content on the platform. You confirm that your content does not infringe on the rights of others. Creators/teachers agree that all published lessons remain free and publicly accessible.
We may update, modify, or remove features at any time. Changes may occur without prior notice as we continuously improve the platform.
Rockguitar.ist is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or suitability for any specific purpose. Use of the platform is at your own risk.
Rockguitar.ist is not responsible for data loss, damages resulting from use of the platform, or content posted by users.
We only collect the information necessary to operate your account: username, email address, encrypted password, and optional profile details such as avatar, bio, XP, or rock level. We do not collect tracking data, advertising profiles, third-party data, or sensitive personal information.
We use your data solely to create and manage your account, display your profile, and operate the platform. We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties.
We use only essential cookies required for login and basic site functionality. No tracking cookies, no analytics, no advertising cookies.
You may delete your account at any time. When you do, your personal data is permanently removed from our systems. Your created content will remain publicly accessible unless you explicitly unpublish it before ending your account. You can also request unpublishing of your content by mailing us.

Creators may purchase a paid membership to unlock additional features. All payments are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles payment processing, invoicing, VAT/sales tax compliance, and subscription management.
You may cancel your membership at any time through your account or via Paddle. After cancellation, your membership remains active until the end of the current billing period.
All payments are processed by Paddle. We follow Paddle’s mandatory refund policy, which includes a 14-day money-back guarantee for all purchases. Customers may request a refund within 14 days of the transaction for any reason.
To request a refund, use the link provided in your Paddle receipt or contact Paddle directly at support@paddle.com. Rockguitar.ist cannot issue refunds directly, but Paddle will process eligible refund requests on our behalf.
